Title: Eye racking
Abstract: Eye tracking is a very promising technology which has experienced rapid progress in recent years. However, there is still room for improvement. It is thus necessary to find solutions to the many challenges before these systems can be used in everyday life. In this presentation we will give an overview of eye tracking systems and technologies behind them.

Title: Measuring the impact forces of martial arts
Abstract: Martial arts are a set of physical, mental and spiritual practices, of which purpose is effective combat. As witnessed in other sports, technologies and devices have started to dominate martial arts trainings in order to measure and assess the progress sportsman have achieved in practice. Performance devices differ mainly in the number and type of sensors to measure and analyse the impact of punches or kicks. Different types of sensors give us different types of results. Acceleration sensor, for example, can measure the acceleration of a striking leg, hard or body. Load sensors provide information of the force that hit one's body. The type of the sensor thus depends on the purpose of use its position and the size of the device itself. All such devices require calibration, and the method depends on the type of sensor used. In this presentation we will look at the state-of-the-art in this area of research.
