A seminar titled "Recent Research Adventures at Sciling" will be presented by dr Luis A. LEIVA on Monday, 14th of May 2018 at 16.00 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies of the University of Primorska.
Luis A. LEIVA is a co-founder and chief technological officer (CTO) at Sciling, a Machine Learning agency based in Spain.
This talk provides an overview of my recent research work, both before and after transitioning from academia (UPV) to industry (Sciling). I have worked primarily on two broad research areas: Human-Computer Interaction and Machine Learning, although I also have collaborated with several researchers in other areas. This talk will showcase recent research work and real-world applications developed at Sciling, from recommender systems to responsive text summarization and eye tracking applications.
