\n\tWe are proud to annonce <\/span> that our<\/span> professor, <\/span>researcher<\/span> and<\/span> the head of DIST department<\/span> prof.<\/span> dr.<\/span> Toma\u0161<\/span> Pisanski<\/span><\/strong> received the prestigious<\/span> Zois Award<\/span><\/strong> for<\/span> outstanding achievements<\/span> in<\/span> scientific research work<\/span> in the field of<\/span> discrete mathematics<\/span> and its<\/span> <\/strong>applications<\/strong>.<\/span> This is the<\/span> most prestigious<\/span> award<\/span> for oustanding and lasting achievements<\/span> in<\/span> scientific<\/span> research and development<\/span> activities<\/span>,<\/span> awarded by the<\/span> Republic of<\/span> Slovenia<\/span> for researchers<\/span> in the Republic of<\/span> Slovenia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
