\/>\n<span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Metode za razpoznavanje zaporedij DNA so danes zelo pomembno orodje za obdelavo nara\u0161\u010dajo\u010de koli\u010dine genomskih podatkov.\">Methods for identifying DNA sequences are now a very important tool to process increasing amounts of genomic data. <\/span><span title=\"Omogo\u010dajo odkrivanje regij DNA, ki kodirajo gene, in nekodirajo\u010dih regij, kjer le\u0161ijo posebne regulatorne regije DNA, ki regulirajo potek izra\u0161anja in prenosa genov.\n\n\">They allow the detection of regions of DNA that encode the genes as well as the detection of non-coded regions, which regulate the course of the expression and gene transfer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Molekula DNA ima poleg primarne strukture - zaporedja \u00e2\u0080\u0093 \u0161tevilne druge \u00e2\u0080\u0093 strukturne \u00e2\u0080\u0093 lastnosti, ki regulirajo interakcijo DNA s proteini in potek izra\u0161anja ter prenosa genov.\">In addition to the primary structure DNA molecule carry<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Molekula DNA ima poleg primarne strukture - zaporedja \u00e2\u0080\u0093 \u0161tevilne druge \u00e2\u0080\u0093 strukturne \u00e2\u0080\u0093 lastnosti, ki regulirajo interakcijo DNA s proteini in potek izra\u0161anja ter prenosa genov.\"> many other characteristics that regulate the interaction of DNA with proteins and course of expression and gene transfer. <\/span><span title=\"Zato je pomembno razviti metode za razpoznavanje regulatornih regij DNA na podlagi analize strukturnih lastnosti.\n\n\">It is therefore important to develop methods for the identification of DNA regulatory regions on the basis of analysis of structural properties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Predstavil bom razvoj in validacijo metod za razvr\u0161\u010danje in poravnavo regij DNA, ki regulirajo horizontalni prenos genov v procesu konjugacije in izra\u0161anje genov, pri bakterijah.\">I will present the development and validation of methods for classification and alignment of DNA regions that regulate horizontal gene transfer in the process of conjugation and gene expression in bacteria. <\/span><span title=\"Primerjava novih metod, ki analizirajo sekundarni nivo informacij kodiranih v strukturnih lastnostih DNA, z metodami primarnega zaporedja, ka\u0161e zelo obetavne rezultate.\n\n\">Comparison of new methods to analyse the secondary level of information encoded in the structural properties of DNA, to methods of primary sequence shows very promising results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Novi algoritmi za poravnavo, ki temeljijo na na\u010dinih predstavitve in kompresije zaporedij DNA izpeljanih iz strukturnih lastnosti, omogo\u010dajo iskanje regulatornih regij v organizmih, kjer jih do sedaj \u0161e nismo mogli najti.\">New algorithms for alignment, based on methods of presentation and compression of DNA sequences derived from the structural features and allowed searching of regulatory regions in organisms, which until now we have not been able to find. <\/span><span title=\"Rezultati so zato uporabni v zdravstvu, predvsem pri ugotavljanju prenosa odpornosti na antibiotike.\">The results are therefore useful in medicine, especially in determining the transfer of antibiotic
