ABOUT THE PRESENTER:<\/p>\n
Peter Chanthanakone is an award winning director and producer specializing in 3D\u00a0animated short films. He won numerous film festival awards and his works has been\u00a0selected in major film festivals around the world such as Germany, France, Austria,\u00a0Canada, China, Belgium, Thailand, Laos, S. Korea, Pakistan, India, Australia, Italy as a\u00a0retrospective at the 2013 VIEW Animation Video Festival and on a giant screen in Times\u00a0Square in the NYC International Film Festival. Cumulatively, his work has been selected\u00a0in over 65 international juried competitions. Peter is a perennial international speaker,
\nwith talks at Siggraph Asia, Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Asia\u00a0Animation Forum, the International Symposium of Electronic Arts and Society of\u00a0Animation Studies. He is also a jury member for the prestigious Electronic Theatre for Siggraph Asia and director and producer at RiFF Animation Studio in Bangkok, Thailand and Associate Professor in 3D Animation at the University of Iowa. He\u2019s currently a\u00a0visiting Researcher at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand<\/p>\n
