The workshop was aimed at understanding the simple approach to the development of mobile applications. In addition to a personal computer and Android mobile device development requires no additional software or hardware. Such application development is very suitable for beginners, since it is based on a compilation of simple building blocks. The workshop participants learned AppInventor web development environment that allows simple assembly of mobile applications for the Android platform and learn about a different approach to programming by means of assembling simple building blocks. In this way, participants developed a wide variety of simple mobile applications.
