The central event organised within the Science for Life project is the pan-European Researchers’ Night, taking place on seven different locations in Slovenia: Ljutomer, Maribor, Brešice, Koper, Izola, Nova Gorica and Ljubljana, on 30 September 2016 and 29 September 2017.
DIST will be present in Koper showing various research activities in the field of Ubiquitous Computing.
The event is aimed at all those interested in “how does it work” and how science impacts our everyday lives. The event represents a unique opportunity for the youth, who will get to know different aspects of attractive research careers offering exciting employment prospects. Last but not least, the project also provides the opportunity to participate in interesting experiments, workshops and lab visits. In addition, visitors will be able to chatter with researchers in a festive atmosphere. Young people will learn about the research career and tasks of researchers and how to balance professional and personal life.
