UPM: National University Coding Competition held at FAMNIT

 

On Saturday, 14th of October, FAMNIT held the final round of UPM coding competition for 2017 which is organised by ACM Slovenia. Participants from all Slovenia competed for the grand title of UPM and for titles within each of the three public universities. 

The competition is also a qualifier for Central Europe Regional Contest – CERC 2017.

First three places were scooped by teams from University of Ljubljana:

1. place: Jure Slak, Maks Kolman, Marko Ljubotina (Ekipa Pitoni~~)

2. place: žiga željko, Martin Peterlin, žan Knafelc (ekikpa Final Solution)

3. place: Filip Koprivec, Filip Peter Lebar, Luka Kolar (ekipa https://muzik.si)

In the competition we had 60 competing groups and 168 competitors. In the final round best 22 groups and 55 competitors competed for the grand prize.

The competition also brought champions for each university these are:

Champions for University of Maribor: Izak Glasenčnik, Nejc Maček, Robi Novak (ekipa ‘); DROP TABLE Teams;)

Champions for University of Ljubljana: Jure Slak, Maks Kolman, Marko Ljubotina (ekipa Pitoni~~)

Champions for University of  Primorska: Mikita Akulich, Daniil Baldovski, Anton Uramer (ekipa PSPACE’)
