Sead Jahič graduated in 2012 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Tuzla, Bosnia and Hercegovina as a Mathematician (Math teacher). Between 2012 and 2016 he was Teaching Assistant at the University of Tuzla (Applied Mathematics and Computer Science). Presently, he is a PhD student and Teaching Assistant at UP FAMNIT (Computer Science and Information Technologies).

Title: Introduction to Sentiment Analysis of South-West Slavic Languages

Abstract:

In this presentation, we are going to find out more about Sentiment Analysis, by reviewing two articles and give basic information about the book written by Katerina Veselovska Sentiment Analysis of Czech language.
The first article that we are going to review is “Sentiment analysis on tweets in a financial domain (Apple stock prices) and the second article is “Sentiment Annotation of Slovene User-Generated Content”.
The aim of the presentation will be to convey to the audience more information about possible use of Sentiment Analysis in different areas of research.
