The first round of the University Programming Marathon 2018 was held on 19 April. The time to finish all the assignements is 4 hours. UPM is organised by ACM Slovenia.

University of St Andrews – seminars and Pre-CHI day organised by SICSA
Our professors Klen Čopič Pucihar and Matjaž Kljun visited the University of St Andrews where they delivered two seminars titled "The Missing Interface: Micro Gestures on Objects for Augmented Reality Interaction" and "Large scale studies of habit changing interface design". They were guests of prof Aaron Quigley.

The trial round of the University Programming Marathon is taking place in the Computer Lab 1 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information technologies. The contest is taking place at three Slovenian Universities: University of Primorska, University of Ljubljana and University of Maribor.

Jessica CAUCHARD, is a Senior Lecturer at IDC Herzliya, Israel in the departments of Computer Science and Communications. Jessica was a postodoctoral research fellow at Stanford's Computer Science Human-Computer Interaction laboratory and completed her PhD at the University of Bristol at the Interaction & Graphics research lab.
