Successful organization of MVAR workshop at IEEE ISMAR 2018 in Munich
Our researchers Klen Čopič Pucihar and Matjaž Kljun from HICUP lab at UP FAMNIT have yesterday (16 October 2018) together
with professor http://people.cs.uu.nl/huerst from Utrecht University (Netherlands) and professor Daisuke Iwai from Osaka University (Japan) co-organised a succesfull 2nd international workshop on MULTIMODAL VIRTUAL & AUGMENTED REALITY (MVAR 2018) in conjunction with the prestigious conference IEEE ISMAR 2018 – International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality. The workshop was attended by more than 50 participants.

ACM SIGCHI HCI ambassadors workshop at prestigious conference UIST 2018
A distinguished professor Albrecht Schmidt from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich has organised a workshop titled HCI Ambassadors with cooperation of ACM SIGCHI. in conjuction to the prestigious ACM UIST 2018 conference – User Interface Software and Technology Symposium. The workshop was held on 14 October in Hasso-Plattner institute, Postdam, Germany. The aim of the workshop was discussing how to promote and establish human-computer interaction as a credible subject in research and teaching as well as building bridges how to make SIGCHI more internationally inclusive and to extend its reach.
Our students at UPM 2018 finals
The final round of the University Programming Marathon 2018 was held in Maribor on Saturday, October 13, 2018. The closing event was organized by the Institute of Computing, and took place on the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics, Uiversity of Maribor. The competition was attended by 16 teams and 46 competitors.
